Pat's birthday was Monday and we went to Laughlin Nevada to celebrate. Had a nice day and visited some casinos with an overnight stay at the Golden Nugget. Took a couple pictures while we were there. Here they are.
Our first visit was to the Colorado Bell. Had a little luck there. We then went to the Tropicana
and also had a little luck there. Then we went to the Golden Nugget where we stayed overnight.
Luck was not as good there, but we had a good time.
This piano player is here 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is in the lobby area of the Golden Nugget.
This nugget is in the shape of a hand and is named the The Hand of Faith Nugget. It weighs 16 pounds, 11 ounces and was found in Australia. It is in this case in the lobby area of the casino.
This was the view out over the Colorado river from our room.
A shot of the "Cowboy" at the Pioneer casino.
Another shot of the mountains across the river from the casinos. The sun gave them the special color.
This "taxi" runs on the river from casino to casino.
This is where we had Pat's birthday dinner. We found this place when we were in Bullhead City last winter. They have great food, great prices and the dinner portions enough for two. Worth a visit if you are ever in Bullhead City.
